MENA FCCG delivers presentation on sanctions compliance to law enforcement and prosecutors in Jordan
On September 5th, 2021, Arab Bank, MENA FCCG Member, delivered an awareness session on best practice sanctions compliance in financial institutions. The event, organized by the Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC) and targeting law enforcement and prosecutors, seeks to pave the way for future outreach to law enforcement to enhance lines of communication between the public and private sector at the national level. The session offered an overview on sanctions compliance best practices, sanctions circumvention case studies, as well as success stories demonstrating the value of the private sector in combatting terrorism financing and ensuring compliance with international sanctions programs.
